Description
Violet Parr from The Incredibles
This is another speedpaint done with a friend for my weekly 2 hour speedpaint challenge. We couldn't get it done on time so we extended the time to 2 1/2 hours. I struggled with the sketching phase as I tried to do some action poses and interesting angles from the top of my head. I decided that it wasn't the best course of action so I looked for some references only to find that I didn't like any of it. At 30 minutes in, my canvas was still blank. Ultimately, I went with a pretty boring pose without reference.
When doing speedpainting, there is a sense of pressure, which will lead to panic if not managed properly.
Anyway, another shitty piece for you all to see.

She looks adorable and awesome, granted only minor issue would be to shrink her breast size a bit so she's a bit more accurate to her film appearance, but other than that it looks good.
